It's often useless to submit a seat with a place to have a drink together, and similarly, the offer of a surface is of little help when there is nothing to sit on. The Emma Chair by Kieser Spath, however, embodies both table and chair in one petite package. The piece is essentially the merging of two different elements, as well, rather than a cohesive hybrid. The wooden table just seems very similar to a bench or stool elongated, while the soft component is sitting in an armchair in the shape of L. Place outside the center, the perch provides more than a surface exposed to allow insertion of the books, glasses, or even a lamp. The Emma Chair by Kieser Spath would be a nice addition to your home space, but I'd really like to see these clusters in public waiting rooms.
