Mati Karmin's Mine Furniture

Mati Karmin began to create his ' Mine Furniture' for six  years ago as he was exploring the coastal area of North Estonia. The area was full of old and corroded shell mines. Mati Karmin became fascinated with these elements and began to turn them into functional pieces of art. Using these old and discarded shells of destructive weapons previously, Karmin has created a collection of works which translates a piece of history in Estonia in tangible art. References: marinemine and treehugger.

Implications - Reuse of natural elements to create products that are aesthetically attractive is a respectful way to attract attention to the client. Companies will benefit from incorporating any kind of environmental aspects in their business plan because of the importance of living green in modern society.
