Dutch designer Mieke Meijer ask what the influence was behind the creation of the Blend bed, and she'll tell people it was like sleeping in the 17th century.
You see, the Blend bed mix is the multiple functions between a bed and a chair, and refers to how people would sleep in a semi-sitting position, long ago. Apparently down to sleep is associated with death [yikes]. The mixed bed has a wooden frame that is fused with two chairs on each side. The chairs can also function as a night tables.
