Modern Style Childrens Furniture

Embrace your inner child with the Project 2011 of the UM collection. For me, it seems as if these versions of pieces of furniture are grown-up children's furniture. Fun, playful, youthful and colorful, is not an innocent quality to each piece that carries the same feeling to your home.

Debuting at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair [ICFF], Project 2011 of the UM collection includes everything from lamps, sideboards and tables. With an eclectic and modern style, each piece is made of wood with vibrant accents that make them seem rather improvised.

Although the project of the UM 2011 collection seems to fit perfectly in a play area or study, not a creative sophistication that makes this set suitable for adults. References: umproject and design-milk.

Ding 3000 Designer Puzzle JOIN Table

Description

Inspired by the Japanese puzzle game, simple solution to this table, appropriately titled JOIN, can be assembled in minutes [no tools!] Linking its three legs in a combination of oak node devil. The untreated base is compatible with a smoked glass circular lid of 750 mm in diameter and can be quickly disassembled for storage or shipping. A design DIY do it yourself is so easy and fun to assemble.

JOIN table travels as a part of the “Design Deutschland 2011? Exhibition – curated by the German Design Council – from the FuoriSalone in Milan to the ICFF in New York and finally to the Business of Design Week in Hong Kong.
