Australia Garvan Institute Of Medical Research - Spiral DNA Staircases

What appears to be a giant auger drilling in this beautiful building is really an impressive Spiral DNA staircases.

The six-story staircase is the event of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Australia. Spiral DNA staircases shape reminds me of a DNA Helix, and its white clean color, parts of glass and chrome handrails emphasize the medical role of the Centre. The six levels of the structure are also presented in the fantastic covered by the dome Atrium. Apparently the building is often used for filming and publicity.

The building was designed by the architect Ken Woolley also from Australia. The first image of Flickr, was taken by eagle-ffm. References: tourgarvan.org and dvice.

Max Pritchard's The Bridge House

Max Pritchard's The Bridge House

The Bridge House is a cozy little living in the midst of nature in rural Australia. Nestled in the woods, The Bridge House appears to be made of an old car train that was used as a bridge to reach a peak to another. Architect Max Pritchard created the Bridge House to be a contemporary work of art that can fit into its surroundings in the Outback. The exterior minimalist thin metals and small body but stable humble abode make this an absolute masterpiece. References: and dornob.
