World Expo 2008 Digital Water Walls

Description

This wall can display scrolling text or large images, and becomes even an automatic door. This technology was created by an MIT students. If you are concerned that is a huge waste of water, think again my friend! The walls of work in 100% recycled water and reduce the need for air conditioning. This pavilion is set to be presented at Zaragozas World Expo in 2008, an event in which water will be the topic of focus.  Indeed, we have seen this before, in the North American Auto Show... Permanent Green Walls Are Vertical Gardens

Why go out when you can enjoy your lawn in the comfort of your own home. Invented an internal landscape, permanent green walls are vertical gardens that can be individually designed to suit your taste. The innovative concept also provides automatic air conditioning, clean air, a sound barrier, and maybe, just maybe happiness. Well, I've gone too far.

Implications - Consumers are extremely concerned about the current condition of the environment, and this is evident by the amount of eco-friendly products which have penetrated the market. Consumers can take one step further in their eco-initiatives by making the structure of their homes environmentally sound. This opens up a new subsection of the green industry for interior design firms to capitalize on.
