Sett Studio With Sustainably Prefab Studio


From @jetsongreen, small, prefabricated, sustainably designed spaces for easy home addition, with no building permit necessary in many areas. Recommended for "home office, study art, yoga space, room for children, games room, guest room," in either 97 or 192 sqf.



Sett Studios are built with the SIPs, "the most energy and efficient material construction available component". Interior use Monotread, a material resistant, transparent and sustainable for floors, walls and ceilings, from rapid growth, underutilized, inexpensive wood species grown in carefully managed forests."



Also employed, siding made of Shou-Sugi-Ban, a Japanese treatment of charred wood "weatherizes the wood, prevents bugs and rot and has enhanced fire resistance."
