When it comes to mountaineering, a good ice axe can mean the difference between life and death. Noticing technical setbacks and a general lack of comfort of current axes, designer Katrina Epperson developed the Condor more ergonomic and easy to use. Its curved axes allows the whole hand to grip the axe in a natural position. A molded rubber injection head provides additional comfort and protects hands from cold, hard steel.
