Contemporary Design DIY Living Spaces With Low Cost

"My Place" is an initiative of the recession of design, a group of designers and project managers to explore the architecture of home improvement and design solutions for low cost life.

The exhibition presented at ‘The Fabbrica del Vapore’ in Milan is a series of scenes from the life created entirely from sustainable materials, cheap and readily available.

Scenes include an office, laboratory hobby, play area sports bar, and housing. The areas are full of novelties, modular and ideas that raise creations Do-It-Yourself to the level of contemporary design.

And the concept of low cost is taken so seriously that visitors give specific details and manuals for assembling the display pieces. [I might be able to create a cool football for Christmas!]

Next up for Recession Design is a book called ‘Do-It-Yourself Design, Ideas Against The Crisis.’ Move over, IKEA!A!
