This weekend house has been voted the Best Private House in the Wallpaper Design Awards 2008, and it is obvious to see why. The work of architects Makoto Takei and Chie Nabeshima [TNA], this weekend house is a great example of how creativity, design and environment can coexist perfectly.
The architects were invited to create a weekend that was far from the hustle and bustle of life in Tokyo and on the streets - and that's exactly what they did. As the Ring House is naturally among the lush vegetation and trees in a forest Japanese, with only a two-hour drive that separates the inhabitants of the city of an ecological paradise.
The weekend house is exquisite in its environment, making full use of its ethereal glass and wood mini-tower. The tall structure, but not over-feeding creates a haven to rejuvenate and refresh any of its inhabitants.
The uninterrupted 360 degree views in the Ring House offers the luxurious experience to be as close to nature as it could be within the structure of a house.
